Shondaland Masterclass
I'm back!
I haven't posted anything in a long time. Been caught up in family dramas that left me a bit paralyzed for a while.
Now, I am embarking on a new chapter. Slowly getting back to my writing projects and exiting the final stage of grief over the loss, or rather the theft of my TV show. Is fuckit a stage of grief? Never mind.
Tonight, I begin the Shonda Rhimes Masterclass on writing for TV. Teleplays give me the heebee geebees. So, I guess I'm facing my fears and learning from the best in order to master the art of the teleplay.
Why am I afraid of writing a teleplay? Well, it seems to me that the structure of a teleplay is like five to seven mini-movies in one episode, and a television season is like a billion mini-movies strung together. And I only just mastered the art of writing a screenplay which is only one movie.
Sounds silly, but irrational fears often are.
