May she rest in peace. A true inspiration to me and a symbol of strength and excellence to the world. She was the poster child for overcoming obstacles and harsh trauma to rise up to become what God intended her to be, a fine wordsmith and brilliant storyteller. Her life is proof that you can overcome trauma and turn your life around to do extraordinary things. If only I could achieve a fraction of her scope of creative works. She was one of the firsts to spark in me the dream of becoming an author.
